HOW YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
The Marlborough community has a big heart and is committed to supporting a bright future for every Marlborough child. Together, we can make a difference and ensure that every Marlborough 5-year-old has a positive start to school.
SSFI Marlborough relies entirely on charitable funding. This includes making applications for appropriate grants, community fundraising, corporate sponsorship, and generous donations. If you are interested in having a deeply positive impact on the Marlborough community, we would love to hear from you.
We are keen to support local businesses. If you are a local business and your preferred option of support is to offer us product or discounted product of any items contained in our Kitbox, then please contact us on info@ssfimarlborough.nz

Volunteers
As we grow each year we require volunteers who can spare a little bit of time now and then helping us to keep things running smoothly. This can be anything from knitting to packing boxes or helping with fundraising. Please email us if you are interested in helping out. It is completely volunteer as we are a not-for-profit organisation.
The volunteer team consists of the three trustees, Michelle, Brenda and Margaret as well as Jackie, Gail (Jackie’s Mum), Tracey, Sheryl (Tracey’s Mum), Christine, Bob (Margaret’s hubby), Andrew (Brenda’s hubby), Diane (Brenda and Margaret’s sister and Michelle’s Aunty) , Wendy (Brenda and Margaret’s sister and Michelle’s Aunty), Viv and Sara. As you can see, if they’re not family, they are friends!
Fundraisers
If you are in the position to run a fundraiser on our behalf we are more than open to that idea, we have had some wonderful people work very hard for us and have successful fundraisers for us including a Fund Run. Please get in touch via our email if you would like to fundraise for us.
Christmas Giving Tree
Annually we undertake a Christmas Giving Tree, hosted by a local business. This is an opportunity for the community to participate by giving items that form part of our kitbox. Grab a tag detailing an item we include in our boxes, purchase the item/s and place under the tree and hang your tag/s on the tree. Please note, the items must be new.
Look on our Facebook page or under the Community page here around mid-November for details.
